Afrofeminism in progress is an European Black feminist artistic and political project founded in 2017.

Here, we — Black women — are the center.

  • We share the artistic visions that inspire us.

  • We support and fund those we can.

  • We bring together a community—beyond the limits of love.

  • We produce and share strategies and knowledge to survive the whiteness

  • We prioritize concrete actions over long speeches.

  • We remain true to our roots.

We speak from Europe (Brussels, more precisely), addressing the entire Black diaspora. Anyone is free to listen, but we no longer listen to just anyone. We constantly change our form, but rarely our substance—even as we evolve.
